Paid Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity:  Data Management
The Ohio State University

Dr. Mark Moritz, Department of Anthropology, is looking for an undergraduate student who can assist with data management and organization using Filemaker Pro on a project titled, Pastoral Management of Open Access: The Emergence of a Complex Adaptive System.  It is an interdisciplinary project that is of interest to students in anthropology, rural sociology, geography, ecology, biology. But students from any major can apply. The data to be organized is demographic data, spatial data, and mobility data. The student will set up a Filemaker Pro database that integrates the different data sets. The student should have experience with Filemaker Pro (preferably version 10). This is a paid position for the summer. Hours are flexible but need student to work about 20 or more hours per week. The hourly pay is $8.67.
