POSTER PREPARATION TIPS

POSTER TITLES
Poster title should closely follow the format below:

• Title of your research paper
• Names of all researchers who contributed to the work
• Your academic department
• Name of the institution where the research was performed
• City, State and Zip code of the institution

EXAMPLE

Restoration of diastolic function in senescent rat hearts through adenoviral gene transfer of sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca(2+)-ATPase.)

Other Contributing Authors (if any).
College or Department Name, Institution (Enrolled), (Research)*
Menotor’s Name:

*Only include your research institution in parentheses if it is different from the institution in which you are enrolled.

POSTER CONTENT

Although there is no one correct way to create and layout a poster, most posters follow a general content format. Posters should contain most but not all of the following headings.

Abstract
Introduction
Background
Materials and Methods
Results
Discussion
Future Work
Conclusion

Footnotes
References/Bibliography
Acknowledgements

ABSTRACT
You must submit a one-page (or less) Abstract describing your research project. The Abstract should contain the following:Tip:  How to Write an Abstract

• Name of the institution where the research was performed
• City, State and Zip code of the institution

Abstracts should be submitted to OSEA online prior to attending hte OSRF Forum.
