Academic Year Research Internship Program

This internship is designed to provide students with research experience during the academic year while attending classes. All students are required to apply each academic year, either for one or more semesters/quarters or the entire academic year.

New Applicants
It is suggested that new applicants interested in applying for this internship should apply at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the quarter/semester in which they are seeking to do their research. This will allow time for application review and mentor matching if accepted into the program. Applications can be accepted for any quarter/semester.
Once an application is reviewed, the student will be contacted as to whether he or she has been accepted into the program

Returning Applicants
Returning applicants can expedite the application process by making an agreement with their current/previous mentor to continue working on a past research project or a new project. Although the intern has an application on file, a new application is required each calendar year for the purpose of keeping our files current with address and G.P.A. changes.

Please read the application instructions before applying to the program.
