The Ohio Science and Engineering Alliance consists of 15 institutions located in 12 counties throughout Ohio. Two of the universities, Central State University and Wilberforce, are Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

Twelve of the institutions are state supported and three are private including Case Western Reserve University, University of Dayton and Wilberforce University.
